Project: This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently bidding for this programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking translator to join our established and growing team in Saudi.

To work directly with the project team and will be responsible for performing a number of administrative duties.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing documents, translating and interpreting them accordingly
- Sitting in meetings, workshops etc., and providing translation support and in addition taking notes and actions that are then typed and recorded as needed for use by the PD and wider team.
- Reporting to the PD's project secretary and working within a small support and admin team.
- Providing wider admin support from preparing presentations, minutes, correspondence and diary management to members of the SLT.
- Ensuring effective communication. Ensuring translated texts conveys original meaning and tone.
- Proofreading translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy.

About you

You have relevant degree qualifications and be a member of a professional body. You are an experienced Arabic translator who can work within a team primarily providing support to the programme director and SLT. You are confident having the ability to translate documents from Arabic to English and vice versa.

You are digitally savvy and can build lasting client relationships. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
