**Job Summary**:
As a Solar Site Engineer specializing in hotel and building management, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for hospitality and commercial buildings. Your role involves managing all aspects of solar projects, from initial site assessments and feasibility studies to system commissioning and post-installation support. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and integration of solar energy solutions into building management practices.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Site Assessment and Feasibility Studies**:

- Conduct on-site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the suitability of building structures, roofs, and surrounding areas for solar PV installations.
- Analyze site conditions, solar irradiance levels, shading, orientation, and electrical infrastructure to determine optimal system design and performance expectations.
- **System Design and Engineering**:

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and design teams to develop detailed solar PV system designs, layouts, and specifications that integrate seamlessly with building structures and electrical systems.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools to model system performance, energy production, and financial projections.
- **Permitting and Regulatory Compliance**:

- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, utilities, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) to address inquiries, resolve issues, and facilitate permit approval processes.
- **Procurement and Vendor Management**:

- Procure solar PV equipment, materials, and components from vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Evaluate bids, proposals, and quotations from contractors and subcontractors, selecting qualified vendors and negotiating contracts and terms.
- **Installation and Construction Oversight**:

- Manage the implementation of solar PV projects, overseeing construction activities, contractor performance, and adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections, quality assurance checks, and progress reviews to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and best practices.
- **System Commissioning and Testing**:

- Coordinate system commissioning activities, including electrical testing, performance verification, and grid interconnection, to ensure proper functionality, safety, and compliance with utility requirements.
- Conduct system performance tests, energy yield assessments, and troubleshooting to optimize system performance and address any operational issues.
- **Training and Handover**:

- Provide training and technical support to building management teams, facility operators, and maintenance staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems.
- Prepare operation and maintenance manuals, documentation, and warranty information for client handover and post-installation support.
- **Customer Engagement and Support**:

- Engage with building owners, facility managers, and stakeholders to provide project updates, address inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client communication, resolving issues, and managing expectations to foster positive relationships and referrals.

**Salary**: ﷼4,000.00 - ﷼6,000.00 per month
