As a **Senior SAP Hybris Backend Developer**, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust e-commerce solutions using SAP Hybris. This role requires strong expertise in backend development, an in-depth understanding of SAP Hybris architecture, and a proven ability to deliver scalable and reliable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

**key Accountabilities**:

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP Hybris backend components and extensions.
- Implement core functionalities such as product catalog management, order management, and promotions using Hybris platform capabilities.
- Integrate third-party systems, APIs, and services with SAP Hybris to enhance platform capabilities.
- Work closely with SAP team to ensure seamless integration of backend services with the user interface.
- Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services with the user interface.
- Contributes to the overall architecture and technical design of the e-commerce platform.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of the SAP Hybris system.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SAP Hybris implementations.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience**:

- Bachelor in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in SAP Hybris Commerce development.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
- Experience with build tools like Maven/Gradle and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with SAP Hybris modules like Commerce, Product Content Management (PCM), and Order Management System (OMS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of data modeling and optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- SAP Hybris Developer Certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in migrating legacy e-commerce platforms to SAP Hybris.
