**Job**
**Profile**: To identify Digitization strategic objectives and oversee the adoption of digital technologies across an organization, transforming business strategy using technology and data, and converting how people, processes, and technology can enable that digital vision, to increase efficiency, greater business agility and, ultimately, the unlocking of new value for employees, customers, and shareholders.

**Responsibilities***:
**1. Strategic Contribution**
- Direct the implementation of the annual business plan and targets and implement the strategic agenda of the Digitization department to deliver the company’s vision and mission.
- Ensure that the strategy is translated into operational business plans for the Digitization department and monitor the performance and execution of those plans to achieve functional objectives and deliver the company’s strategy.

**2. Leadership**
- Direct the activities of the Digitization team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the strategic project management plans, policies and procedures.
- Build and lead a motivated, engaged and competent team, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to meet the functional challenges and goals.
- Serve as a role model to ensure employees’ awareness and commitment to the company’s vision, mission, values, and corporate strategy
- establish a highly engaged and motivated team, and continuously improve performance.

**3. Budgeting**:Develop, submit and upon approval implement the Digitization budget, monitoring its accurate execution, identifying cost saving opportunities and proposing corrective actions in case of deviations, in order to ensure compliance with pre-set targets.

**4. Core Accountability**
- Prepare/Modify/Update company’s digitization plan/agenda in alignment with Business.
- Lead implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IOT) for process improvements and improving overall organizational efficiency
- Lead Business Automation projects to deliver optimal results.
- Build relationships and improve Partner Management matrix to deliver on time and high-quality projects.
- Proactively work with Business/Function leaders to propose and support digitization of processes in their areas of work.
- Ensure linking of digitization initiatives to the overall framework/plan for digitizing the firm.

**Policies, System, Processes and Procedures**
- Manage the development and implementation of the Digitization policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement, to ensure efficient and effective operation.
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to all relevant regulatory directives to ensure a safe and risk-free environment.

**6. Change Management**
- Motivate the employees and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account global best practices.
- Ensure that all departmental reports and statements are completed timely and comply with local and international principles of governance and the organization’s policies and standards.

**Qualification, Experience & Skills**

**Qualification**: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering or any related field. MBA or Masters in a related field (added advantage)
