**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Lead and oversee all phases of airport terminal projects from planning and design to construction and commissioning.
- Review airport designs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to the master planning of airports.
- Develop design concepts and strategies for airport projects.
- Manage design teams and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor project progress and quality, implementing necessary adjustments as required.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements related to Airport design.
- To support the project in administering contracts, including the transfer of risk and liability for design through the project lifecycle. A mature and flexible approach to design ownership will be essential to match the varied nature of projects across the airport.
- Act as client representative and key communication point for all stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure timely sharing of information and decision.
- Identify and evaluate a range of possible solutions make a recommendation on the best solution and develop the chosen solution through the feasibility stage, in accordance with the Development Process.
- Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies and procedures.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Provides technical direction, making decisions and/or obtaining additional technical staff assistance as the situation warrants. This may include obtaining the services of consultants.
- Provide solutions regarding any problem areas, staffing requirements, delays in production, scope changes, or other events which could affect project completion and/or profitability.
- Maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current airport design and technologies.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree In Engineering, Architecture or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in managing Airport design or related field. Has previous similar large scale PMO’s projects experience.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards are a must.
- GCC experience is preferred.
- Must have experience at senior management/director level as well as having extensive experience in client facing roles.
- Strong background in Technology and Innovation.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Effective oral and written skills for client presentations, technical reporting, and internal / external correspondence; Ability to effectively present information to key stakeholders as required by the client.
- Understanding of the construction management at risk alternative delivery process and the functions inherent to construction management of large-scale projects.
- Understanding of budget development and cost accounting.
- Ability to manage and encourage a team of construction management professionals.
- Ability to interface with all levels with project team, client, and others.
- Knowledge of construction contract negotiation and administration
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to function in a multi-organizational environment by developing relationships that complies with the client’s proactive, collaborative culture.
