The project:
This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

Provides visible health and safety advice and management to project/s (or multiple small projects), provides guidance and assurance to project team/s and business.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Driving the implementation and compliance of business health safety and wellbeing (HSW) policies, procedures, guidance notes and standards on assigned project/s.
- Overseeing preparation of external ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and other applicable standards.
- Monitoring and assisting with the creation and coordination of the inspection and audit schedule, undertakes and provides support for operational HSW inspections and audits.
- Providing Input and participates in the development of new and updates to existing standards.
- Analysing and interpreting results of reporting, audits, corrective actions, operations reports and key performance indicators (KPI’)s, ensuring mechanisms are in place to enable accurate measurement, reporting and rectification - identifies gaps for improvement and develops mitigation plans with operations to support rectification.
- Contributing to and managing incident investigations in line with business procedures.
- Seeking opportunities for continuous improvements/improving working processes.
- Develops effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Effectively manages stakeholders.
- Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

- A relevant bachelor’s degree qualification.
- Membership of relevant professional body such as IOSH, NEBOSH, OHSA or equivalent.
- Knowledge of HSW legislation.
- Relevant HSW industry or sector experience.
- A minimum of 12+ years of experience, as per client’s requirements.
- Good communications and presentation skills.
- Arabic language knowledge is a significant advantage.

We are also open to discussing part time, flexible, and hybrid working options if suitable within the role. (Dependant on geography with BUD approval).
