**Job Description**:
Operations Manager
- Exciting Opportunity for a Saudi National based in Jeddah_

Position Purpose

This position is in charge of optimization of labor, material & equipment resources to ensure CHEP products are inspected and repaired to right quality criteria and available to meet customers’ demand with the lowest cost Provides administrative support to the regional Leaders with appropriate data and system housekeeping, standardizing communication and system solutions with Service Centers and Transporters as well as ensuring that Service Centers are complied with CHEP processes and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage Plants’ locations and control operations, and third parties to ensure effectiveness, cost efficiency and quality of Plants
- Responsible for the implementation of Supply Chain visibility solutions within the CHEP Network in Turkey.
- To ensure appropriate sorting of CHEP equipment according to PQS standards and responsible for product and service complaints
- Manage third parties to ensure that the check conditioning process is maintained according to plan & quality criteria
- Control storage, stock rotation, stock levels, forklift truck activity to ensure appropriate capacity at Plants
- Ensure that all Plant activity complies with current H&S legislation, policies and procedures,
- Measure performance against clear standards - performance reporting on KPIs;
- Participate in current department projects and other tasks as delegated by the Manager,
- Manage escalation of Supplier Service complaints to support on resolution, escalations and triggers and supports Service audits
- Controls, tracks and communicates if required system stock movements in the plant and between the plants.
- Creates and maintains databases for rates, SLAs, performance etc. as well as communicates with third parties any changes or updates.
- Reports plant operational KPIs including performance in terms of productivity, timely activity as well as plant conformance to the agreed standards.
- Responsible for maintaining all Operations procedures in a systematic format
- Supports plants with any system trainings/support/maintenance.
- cooperates with plants with any system / process changes and ensures best practices are implemented.
- Collects necessary data (pictures, plant reports, communication) for timely complaint justification.
- Ensures timely and complete scrapping process including collection of necessary documentation and approvals.

**Qualifications**:
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain
- SAP experience

Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of CHEP control processes

Experience
- Supply Chain Management background
- Leading network of multiple locations
- Experience in matrix organisation
- Project Management Experience
- Multi-lingual environment knowledge

Skills and Knowledge
- Computer: M/soft Office tools, SAP, BW,
- Personal: energetic; relationship builder, team player, excellent communicator & organiser; worked successfully in matrix structure, ability to simplify processes, numerical
