Summary of the role

The procurement role is responsible for routine sourcing and purchasing material to facilitate projects completion.

Task and Responsibilities
- Seeking reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable prices
- Building a network of reliable vendors and service providers, negotiating the best contracts
- Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases SAP platform.
- Reviewing technical specifications, quality, payment term & condition applied before purchase of goods
- Liaising with delivery and store to ensure goods are received on time.
- Updating all records of purchased products
- Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal.
- Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services.
- Assist where needed, administrative tasks, record keeping on behalf of the team and liasing with the GRO for successful completion of tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimal 1 year experience in relevant position at marine of offshore industries
- Must be fluent in English (oral and written)
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Fluency in computers and software such as Microsoft Office suite
- Able to work well in a team
- Good network/ relations with local suppliers/vendors of marine material and products
- Having good negotiation skill & product knowledge
