**Job Purpose**:
The Demand Planning leader - GEM role plays a key role in delivery of the CSL big rock in the region through:

- Leading the design and implementation of future Transformational operating planning processes across GEM, focusing on simplification and standardization of the Processes and recommend the digital enabling tools needed in the region.
- Leda the capability of Demand digital solutions adoption across all Markets
- Leading the deployment and sequencing of all Fix the Basics work streams across demand, in key markets to ensure optimum efficiency and pace of delivery.
- Ensure fix the basics capabilities and behaviors are sustainably embedded in each market
- Providing transparency to key market, region and global stakeholders on status across all work streams to allow tensions and synergies to be identified and actioned at pace.
**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Own, contract and govern the detailed critical path for all “Fix The Basics” workstream deployment in key markets (Demand planning ) to create a fully integrated programme that lands with pace, efficiency and with minimum disruption to business continuity.
- Develop appropriate milestones, review protocols and communication strategy with market/region stakeholders to ensure on time delivery, sustained performance improvement and associate engagement.
- Be the voice of the CSL big rock in key market and regional forums, proactively working with all stakeholders to optimize the quality and pace of delivery across all Fix The Basics workstreams
- Ensure markets land MWC end state demand planning OD and ways of working in line with operating model guidelines
- Engage and partner markets to drive demand planning capability and metrics to global standard in line with CSL big rock timings, including contracting key milestones, metrics and review processes and partnering major markets with OD and talent solutions
- Be the regional owner for the Mars, Inc demand planning capability suite, partnering with market teams and Mars U to deploy appropriately to all relevant stakeholders
- Work hand in hand with DT in the region to ensure current and future planning roadmap remains aligned across people process and systems
- Contribute to Mars’ future capability roadmap in the demand planning and broader customer centric supply chain space, shaping “version 2” global standards across all programmes through connectivity to external and industry best practice in the region, and well as recognition and scaling of internal best practice.
**What are we looking for?**:

Education & Professional Qualification**
Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
- Demand planning and Customer Management experience within a FMCG environment with a demonstrated ability to think and act with both customer and company in mind.
- Experience in Demand planning digital transformation projects.
- Experience working remotely or in situ with key emerging markets (Middle East, India, Mexico) highly preferable
Experience in problem solving, with the ability to use processes/ tools/ systems to unlock knowledge and generate insights and develop solutions for a wide range of customers and issues.
- Experience of building effective relationships in a cross functional environment.
