Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Project Manager - Hotels **to join our team

In this role, you will join a professional engineering, construction, and cost management team that is involved in multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a real estate development of approximately 850,000 sqm of office space, 115,000 GLA of retail, 1,200 residential units, 5-star Hotels, and 600 hospitality keys. KAFD is set to be the main enabler of the KSA 2030 vision.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of the assigned hotel project's construction, business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions.
- Develops and manages the budget; oversees the profitability of the project.
- Responsible for project invoicing and billing, including all accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Oversees establishment of Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
- Establishes the project requirements for all areas of the project and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
- After careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths, assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates.
- Monitors and negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
- Maintains client relationships and rapport with potential teaming partners.
- Develops career development plans with all direct reports and identifies and coordinates training needs and requests for their staff.
- Identifies the staffing plan for projects and pursuits.
- Responsible for employee performance, including recognition and disciplinary efforts.
- Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project.
- Works with the key project individual to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work; advises the client and company management of changes.
- Responsible for maintaining current and timely change orders.
- Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions that would affect project cost or schedule.
- Acts as the company representative for the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution.
- May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
- Establishes weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items.
- Participates in proposal development on project pursuits, client meetings, and client presentations. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction related technical/business field
- 15+ years of related hotel construction experience with a broad general technical and business background.
- Substantial hotel construction experience
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to perform in a management capacity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of hotel industry practices and regulations
- Knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on projects
