Biomedical Engineers use their expertise in engineering, biology, and medical science to develop and improve medical equipment, devices, computer systems, and software.

They play a crucial role in designing solutions that improve the quality and effectiveness of patient care.

Their duties and responsibilities include:

- Designing, testing, and implementing new medical procedures, such as computer simulations, to solve clinical problems.
- Developing and evaluating systems and products for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, including artificial organs, prostheses, instrumentation, and medical information systems.
- Performing research to acquire and analyze data, using a variety of in vivo and in vitro methods.
- Working with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and therapists, to assess the needs for new or improved biomedical systems.
- Creating models or simulations of human bio-behavioral systems to obtain data for measuring or controlling life processes.
- Ensuring the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
- Presenting and publishing research findings to scientists, non-scientist executives, clinicians, hospital management, engineers, other colleagues, and the public.
- Providing technical support for biomedical equipment, including the training of clinicians and other medical personnel.
- Staying updated with the latest developments in biomedical engineering, laws and regulations, and medical advancements through continued education and professional development.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
