Nursing Recruitment Coordinator

Provides leadership in all recruitment and retention activities. Performs special projects, studies, and administrative tasks related to recruitment activities. Develops proposals and recommends implementation of modifications and improvements to maximize the efficiency of recruitment and retention across Nursing Affairs (NA).
**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
Provides advanced leadership direction to direct reports within program area of responsibility and serves as a leadership role model.- Provides leadership in performance improvement and implements best recruitment and retention practices. Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment and retention processes and identifies opportunities for improvement. Contributes to the development of performance improvement plan for area.- Drives the NA strategic and operational plan for recruitment and retention activities. Contributes to the development and delivery of NA objectives using a continuous improvement paradigm. Works creatively to achieve objectives by embracing new ways of working and taking the lead in the change management process when appropriate.- Distributes marketing material. Maintains the recruitment and retention internet and internet pages. Provides information to increase awareness of recruitment and retention activities throughout the Hospital as applicable.-
- Reviews and monitors staffing allocation across NA including related activity in respect to current operation and new expansions etc. Prepares recommendations related to these matters.- Develops mechanisms for the collection and tracking of data and utilizes results to maximize the efficiency. Produces reports as required.- Develops plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to recruitment and retention activities. Handles special projects and other matters as directed.- Leads and demonstrates achievement in meeting targets for Saudization and nationality mix in collaboration with Nursing Leadership consistent with strategic plan of NA.- Promotes an awareness of resource utilization and the associated financial implication. Leads and demonstrates achievement of cost efficiency in area. Efficiently manages all resources. Prepares annual budget and provides variance reports as required. Forecasts requirements for personnel, supplies, and equipment.- Ensures ongoing individual performance appraisals are objectively completed for staff members against set criteria. Assists with action plans arising from these appraisals as necessary. Provides clear feedback to team members in a manner that is conducive to maintaining and improving performance. Counsels and/or disciplines staff when appropriate.- Assists and supports staff in the identification, development, and implementation of their role according to his/her career development plan.- Contributes to the development and evaluation of nursing and Hospital wide policies and procedures. Assists with organizational projects as requested including participating on nursing and/or interdisciplinary committees and task forces.- Establishes and maintains effective administrative processes. Prepares quarterly reports and maintains records of activity and outcomes.- Develops and sustains own knowledge and professional awareness, and maintains a professional profile. Provides documented evidence of performance and maintenance of skills consistent with position.- Produces training needs analysis and ‘succession and work plans’. Supports Nursing research.- Assists in promoting and sharing knowledge via mentorship in line with relevant research and evidence based practice.- Participates in staff orientation aimed at developing competence and performance. Assists in maintaining a suitable learning environment and acts as a preceptor/mentor in the supervision and teaching of new staff to develop their competence.- Demonstrates excellent personal communication and teamwork. Establishes and maintains effective two-way communication channels. Treats everyone with dignity and respect at all times. Ensures communication from Nursing Executive is communicated to all staff- Establishes and maintains a positive working environment. Maintains collaborative and effective relationships with other key management personnel.- Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.- Participates in self and other’s education, training and development, as applicable.- Performs other related duties as assigned.
**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
**Experience Required**:
Six (6) years of related experience with Master’s or eight (8) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.
**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country or origin and Saudi commission for Health Specialities Licensure is required
