ROLE SUMMARY

The role for this position will be reporting to the Production Supervisor. To provide Manufacturing / Primary Packaging/Secondary Packaging services. Adhere to procedure and instructions so that Production activities within the section are operated safely, comply with business objectives and local regulatory and Pfizer requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Adhere to procedure and instructions so that Manufacturing/ Primary Packaging/Secondary Packaging activities within the Section are operated safely, comply with business objectives and local regulatory and Pfizer requirements.
- Perform Manufacturing /Primary Packaging/Secondary Packaging activities to the planned schedule to achieve efficiency, on-time delivery of product.
- Ensure that IPC test and start up checks are performed as required in accordance with the relevant batch record & standard operation procedures.
- Ensure all Production processes within the section are performed following the appropriate Production instructions and relevant SOPs (standard operating producer) and controlled within their validated parameters to maintain consistent and high product quality.
- Oversee the line clearance activity and start up checks as required in accordance with the relevant production instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Develop relevant procedures and equipment alteration if required whenever there are some new products.
- Perform reconciliation of product as per SOPs.
- Perform the Daily SAP system activity.
- Track the production documents and logbooks. Ensure all documents are up to date and complete as per Pfizer standard.
- Report to Production Supervisor any changes to normal operating process to ensure appropriate actions are being taken, to maintain and improve product quality, production efficiency and safety.
- Oversee the cleaning activities of the Production equipment thoroughly so that there is no risk of cross contamination.
- Conduct trainings for new staff in Production area and develop team to acquire the edge of multi skilling.
- Minimize wastage’s during the Production activities and come up with innovative ideas of savings and enhancing productivity.
- Assist & perform the identified equipment’s verification and calibration before its due date and to ensure the equipment’s used in within its calibration due date.
- Coordinate &perform with engineering the Changeover activity on Production Machines.
- Assist in reviewing with logistics the supply plan and generate agreed production plan to ensure on time delivery of finished product to the Factory warehouse meeting the commercial supply plan.
- Maintain the tracking system of Incident reporting, change control, Quality Standards, Gap analyses & all other documents and systems.
- Ensure that the operations are being executed within an RFT environment with a focus on preventing errors.
- Actively participating in the production initiatives to achieve the site goals.

**Qualifications**:
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical science, Production engineering, Chemical or Mechanical engineering, Chemistry or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industries with relevant to manufacturing & packaging experience.
- Sound knowledges and good understanding of products and process related to Production.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, as well as a high energy level and initiative.

- Master 's Degree
- Lean Six-Sigma experience.
