**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of continental dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring mise en place is complete, ingredients are fresh, and the station is organized and clean.
- Execute daily menu items with precision and efficiency, maintaining proper cooking techniques and adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient service, supporting other stations as needed.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge and expertise to elevate the overall culinary skills of the team.
- Monitor the quality of dishes, ensuring they meet our high standards for taste, presentation, and portion size.
- Contribute creative ideas and suggestions for new menu items or enhancements to existing dishes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends.

**Qualifications**:

- Will be ready and available to start by August - September 2024
- Can speak English well, and Arabic (preferred)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie, with a demonstrated expertise in continental cuisine.
- Strong culinary skills, including knife handling, cooking techniques, and plating presentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and time management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of continental cuisine, including classic dishes, ingredients, and flavor profiles. Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred but not required.
