Government Sector Business Developer

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a talented Government Sector Business Developer to join our team at Sofitel Mumbai BKC. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive government-related business opportunities and partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local market, especially in government sectors, and the ability to build strong relationships with key government entities. You will contribute to the overall sales strategy of the hotel, aiming to position Sofitel Mumbai BKC as the preferred choice for government officials and delegations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Government Sector Business: Identify and target government accounts, including ministries, government agencies, embassies, and government-affiliated organizations to generate business opportunities.
- Build Strong Relationships: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the government sector to secure contracts and business partnerships.
- Sales Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute sales strategies that focus on government business segments, aligning with Sofitel's brand values and standards.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on contracts and agreements with government entities, ensuring favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and monitor government tenders, events, and other opportunities relevant to the hotel. Stay up-to-date with trends and regulations within the government sector.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the government sector, preferably in the hospitality industry or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Market Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the local market, especially in government sectors, and the ability to build strong relationships with key government entities.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Arabic (preferred).
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Personal Traits: Proactive, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
