Contract Administration Lead

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administration Lead to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract administration and compliance within the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Review: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive records of contractual correspondence and documentation, facilitating easy access and retrieval.
- Manage variations and claims from contractors and suppliers, applying commercial acumen to resolve disputes effectively.
- Resolve issues regarding contract terms and conditions, upholding the integrity of the agreement.
- Prepare and manage budgets for projects, ensuring accurate cost control through thorough planning and estimation.
- Conduct detailed cost estimates and planning for project phases, closely monitoring financial status.
- Identify potential overruns and report them to management in a timely manner.
- Assess and approve subcontractor invoices and payments, maintaining transparent financial records.
- Prepare and present regular reports on project financial status, including cost projections, actuals, and variances, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project costings, procurement, and contracts, facilitating transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met, fostering effective communication and coordination.
- Provide expert advice and support to senior management regarding contractual and cost-related matters, contributing to informed business decisions.
- Ensure that all project work complies with company policies, safety regulations, and relevant industry standards, upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Conduct audits and assessments of contractor performance and financial status, verifying adherence to contractual terms and company expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying, contract management, within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law and commercial management principles.
- Proficiency in project management and cost estimation software, staying updated with the latest tools and technologies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
