Responsibilities:

  1. Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and efficiency. Identify and evaluate local and international suppliers for building materials. Conduct market research to track pricing trends and supplier performance.
  2. Supplier Management & Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with vendors. Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries.
  3. Purchasing & Inventory Control: Oversee the purchase of raw materials, construction supplies, and equipment. Work with the warehouse and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
  4. Cost & Budget Management: Monitor procurement budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives. Identify opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining quality.
  5. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure procurement activities align with local regulations and company policies. Mitigate risks by diversifying suppliers and maintaining contingency plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management (preferably in building materials).
  • Strong knowledge of supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, and purchasing processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously.
