Job Title: Dermatology Senior Registrar

Antal International Network - IME is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatology Senior Registrar to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a senior registrar in dermatology, you will contribute to the provision of high-quality dermatological care under the guidance of senior dermatologists. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and managing dermatology patients, participating in dermatological procedures, and providing leadership in delivering high-quality patient care.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced clinical skills in the specialized field of dermatology.
  • Manage complex medical cases independently, utilizing expertise and judgment to make informed decisions.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior medical staff and residents, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to the training and development of medical teams, ensuring that they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate closely with consultants and specialists in multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Offer expert consultations on challenging medical cases, providing guidance and support to colleagues and patients alike.
  • Engage in clinical research activities, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field and contributing to the development of new treatments and therapies.
  • Contribute to academic programs, teaching, and training initiatives, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues and students.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Implement and adhere to evidence-based medical practices, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with the latest research and guidelines.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities within the medical department, providing guidance and support to colleagues and contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to decision-making processes related to patient care and departmental policies, ensuring that decisions are informed and evidence-based.
  • Pursue continuous professional development, staying abreast of advancements in the medical field and enhancing knowledge and skills through attendance at conferences and workshops.
  • Advocate for patient rights and welfare, ensuring that care is delivered in a patient-centered and compassionate manner.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Lead and participate in emergency medical responses, providing expert care and support to patients and colleagues alike.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or subspecialty.
  • Board certification in the relevant medical specialty is typically required or equivalent, fulfilling the criteria for Senior Registrar as required.
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience:
  • From 02 to 04 years of experience after certification.
  • A registered member of the Saudi Board Council is preferable.
Language:
  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
