As a Security Specialist at Swissôtel Makkah, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees. This is a challenging role that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Security Situations: Check and supervise security situations at guards' points throughout the hotel premises.
  2. Security and Order: Ensure and maintain security and order, and the professional appearance of guards at security points.
  3. Patrol and Communication: Regularly patrol, maintain communication systems, update information of the whole area, and report to the security director weekly and monthly.
  4. Incident Handling: Handle every incident and problem under the Security Director's instructions.
  5. Fire Prevention: Provide basic knowledge about fire-fighting prevention to staff and guards.
  6. Employee Supervision: Supervise and, if necessary, discipline employees under direct control.
  7. Reporting: Report sickness or misconduct of security staff to the Security Manager.
  8. Uniform and Punctuality: Ensure that all employees report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag.
  9. Team Building: Build an efficient team of employees by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety, and security, training, and development.
  10. Policies and Procedures: Ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of the hotel's policies and procedures to adhere to them.
  11. Training: Conduct training for new and existing employees as directed, reporting all activities to the Training Manager on a monthly basis and keeping accurate departmental records of all training conducted.
  12. Security Log Books: Ensure that security log books are properly used to enable accurate monitoring of outlet revenue, guest comments, and work performed.
  13. Main Gate Security: Directly monitor, check, and supervise security situations at the guard point at the Main Gate.
  14. Daily Reporting: Daily report order and security situation of the Main Gate area to the Security Manager.
  15. Security Situations: Handle security situations on behalf of the Security Director when authorized by the Manager.
  16. Relationships: Maintain good working relationships with all colleagues throughout the hotel/company and outside partners.
  17. Professionalism: Report for duty punctually wearing smart attire according to the business unit's dress codes and name badges at all times, where applicable.
  18. Company Image: Be polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the company is represented.
  19. Leadership: Lead by example at all times.
  20. Policies and Procedures: Be fully aware of the Group and hotel's policies and procedures and adhere to them.
  21. Personal Appearance: Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
  22. Meetings and Training: Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors.
  23. Company Policies: Have a complete understanding of the company's policy relating to fire, safety, hygiene, and health.
