Key Responsibilities:- Manage post-contract activities, including variation, final accounts, and cost reporting, to ensure accurate financial management of projects.
- Perform accurate cost estimations and financial forecasting for projects, utilizing industry-standard software and tools.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate financial management of projects, including management of bonds, insurances, and guarantee logs.
- Interim valuations and payment certificates, as well as assisting in variations analysis, recommendations, and management.
- Assist in risk and value management and cost control functions, including costs analysis project work and identifying, analyzing, and developing responses to commercial risks.
- Prepare progress/cost reports and provide commercial insights to stakeholders.
- Report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor on all commercial issues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Measurement and quantification of facility and infrastructure or residential works, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts, with a strong understanding of contract law and commercial management principles.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized University, with a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and business principles.
- Minimum 3 to 7 years of post-contract relevant capacity in contracts and commercial management, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Knowledge in the use of QS software, such as Cost X or similar, to manage and analyze project data.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
