Key Responsibilities

  2. Mentor and guide junior staff in standard engineering practices, CAD/CAE software, and modeling techniques.
  3. Coordinate with discipline counterparts, project managers, and clients to ensure project success.
  4. Manage tasks, workloads, and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  5. Participate in company-wide technical communities and professional societies to stay updated on current technologies and best practices.
  6. Apply advanced engineering principles to complex analytical models, using proficiently engineering software and methodologies.
  7. Produce design plans, specifications, and reports for projects of all sizes, adhering to quality requirements and project criteria.
  8. Represent the company with clients and suppliers, ensuring project execution meets industry regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or equivalent from a recognized university.
  2. Minimum 8 years of relevant technical experience, including significant large-scale railway and transit projects.
  3. Profound understanding of engineering management, construction techniques, geological considerations, and industry best practices.
  4. Considerable experience at senior technical level in client-facing roles.
  5. Effective oral and written communication skills for client presentations, technical reporting, and internal/external correspondence.
  6. Understanding of construction management at risk alternative delivery process and functions inherent to construction management of large-scale projects.
  7. Understanding of budget development and cost accounting.
Desired Skills
  1. Chartered Engineer status, Professional Engineer, or equivalent.
  2. GCC experience preferred, KSA ideal.
  3. Aviation experience not essential but favorable.
  4. Familiarity with Design and NOC process in the GCC/KSA.
  5. Ability to manage and encourage a team of design and engineering management professionals.
  6. Ability to interface with all levels of project teams, clients, and others.
  7. Knowledge of construction contract negotiation and administration.
  8. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex engineering documents.
  9. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  10. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of support function problems.
  11. Ability to function in a multi-organizational environment, developing relationships that comply with the client's proactive, collaborative culture.
