  • Conduct visual and manual inspections, recording results and reporting any defects or issues to Team Leaders.
  • Clean and prepare ovens after each production run, ensuring a safe and efficient process.
  • Operate equipment for cutting, grinding, beveling, and testing fiberglass pipes, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Mix and apply various adhesives, resins, coatings, and painting compounds, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
  • Cut and assemble parts, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Maintain and record specified tolerances and dimensions, ensuring accurate inventory management and quality control.
  • Operate process-related machines, pallet trucks, and forklifts, adhering to established safety protocols.
  • Work in extreme temperatures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Clean and maintain machine parts after each production run, ensuring a safe and efficient process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by skilled operators and Team Leaders, adhering to NOV Inc. policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures and protocols.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a plant or manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in production units.
  • Dexterity required for operating machinery and computer systems.
  • Teamwork and attention to detail essential.
  • Forklift driving experience a plus.
  • Practice good housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to understand the manufacturing process and contribute to process improvements.
  • Ability to understand machine operations and provide assistance to machine operators as needed.
  • Organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods.
  • Ability to accurately use measuring tape and thickness gauge.
  • Ability to recognize visual imperfections and functional defects.
  • Ability to work in shifts and adapt to changing production schedules.
