The ideal candidate will introduce, launch, and maximize sales in existing/new products or services in existing/new markets. Building business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients to satisfy their requirements in acceptable time frames will also be key responsibilities.

Responsibilities include negotiating terms of sale agreements, variations in price, credit terms, delivery, and specifications, and closing sales transactions in accordance with approved company policy and procedures. Calculating appropriate costs and aligning with superiors as per matrix and providing customers with quotations will be an essential part of the role.

The role requires demonstrating good knowledge of the market to provide inputs to the sales planning process. Focal point for customer complaints/customer feedback will ensure that all customer issues and needs are resolved and anticipated respectively.

Coordinating with other departments like technical services, applications, marketing, research, and intelligence will ensure that all relevant customer demands are properly communicated across the company.
