About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Training Specialist to join our District Team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional training experiences that drive commercial success and excellence in execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to meet or exceed sales and KPI targets within the store.
  • Lead training and development initiatives by providing best-in-class onboarding and training programs to ensure employees are fully knowledgeable in all areas of their role.
  • Collaborate with the EMC Sales Academy to ensure best practice and compliance when delivering training initiatives and provide feedback on content and implementation of training programs.
  • Plan, drive, and support the implementation of all Retail training programs and platforms, creating inspiring and engaging workshops for the store team to ensure successful execution in the store.
  • Create a professional, high-performance culture by upskilling, coaching, and supporting In-Store Trainers (ISTs), Store Management Team, and subject specialists in stores within the district.
  • Monitor and analyze performance data to make adjustments and drive commercial success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 months work experience in a sports/fashion customer- and commercial-focused retail environment with advanced selling experience.
  • Intermediate numeracy and literacy and advanced verbal communication skills.
  • Competent and proven experience in influencing peers and above.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver training workshops and initiatives.
