The Learning Area Manager will be an active member of the Fulfillment Center Operations Learning team, driving network-wide initiatives and ensuring compliance with established standards. This role requires a creative approach to execute daily actions, analytical thinking skills, and effective presentation and persuasion skills. The ability to influence without authority is also essential.
The successful candidate will have experience delivering training/information to peers, hourly associates, and management. They will also have experience working with hourly employees, as well as exempt personnel, coaching and delivering messages related to performance, developing and implementing goals and strategies based on broader organization goals, and interpreting data analytics.
Responsibilities include actively managing a team of Learning Associates, ensuring their deployment, development, and productivity. The Learning Area Manager will also act as a proactive liaison/partner with corporate departments, consistently seeking to make a positive impact on key business metrics. Additionally, they will foster employee development, implement training programs, facilitate orientation and training classes, communicate policies and procedures, and ensure accurate information is created/updated for training purposes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Foster employee growth and development through mentoring, teaching, and other means
- Implement and execute training programs for associates, managers, trainers, and others
- Facilitate orientation and training classes, communicate policies and procedures as needed
- Ensure the Learning Department creates/updates accurate information for training purposes
Additional responsibilities include understanding workflow, daily production goals, and reports used to drive the business, reacting quickly to production imperatives and scheduling conflicts, and ensuring best practices standardization across all departments and sites.
