About the Job

We are looking for an exceptional individual to fill the position of Head of Trade Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our trade services department.

As a Head of Trade Services, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of trade services to our FI customer base while meeting or exceeding the laid-down service standards through regular contact with customers. You will identify new names for marketing, increase utilization and revenue generation for existing customers, and report unit risk to the unit risk manager.

You will also be responsible for assisting the risk manager in developing and updating procedures, controls, and monitoring plans for operational risk management. When required, you will act as the unit risk coordinator and ensure approvals are in place for all trade-related transactions.

To be successful in this role, you must have a thorough understanding of ICC rules, local laws, legal risks, and knowledge of trade documentation and shipping terms. You should also have good communication and PC skills and be able to interface with customers, processing hub teams, relationship managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of trade services to our FI customer base while meeting or exceeding the laid-down service standards through regular contact with customers.
  • Identify new names for marketing, increase utilization and revenue generation for existing customers, and report unit risk to the unit risk manager.
  • Assist the risk manager in developing and updating procedures, controls, and monitoring plans for operational risk management.
  • Act as the unit risk coordinator when required.
  • Ensure approvals are in place for all trade-related transactions.
