As a Design Manager Marine/Coastal, you'll manage and advise on marine-related construction issues, from design through to construction and commissioning. You'll also advise on enabling/temporary works needed in the marine environment for construction, including logistics and feasibility advice. Your responsibilities will include providing technical input to studies and design, developing study and design procedures, and participating in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. You'll also develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects. To be successful, you'll need 15 years of experience in marine-related work, with experience both onshore and offshore. You'll also need marine design experience, including design reviews, and excellent problem-solving skills. A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred.
