**Job Overview**: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Engineer/Officer to join our team at a leading construction firm in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

**Salary Range**: The estimated salary for this role is between SAR 60,000 - 80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**About the Company**: Our client is a reputable construction firm with operations in Jeddah and Riyadh. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • We are looking for a procurement engineer/officer who will conduct market research, collect information on suppliers and subcontractors, and manage effective divisions to maintain good networks of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of suppliers and subcontractors, assisting project managers with analysis and providing recommendations, and following up with project managers for material delivery to site.
  • They will also verify invoices from suppliers, administer and coordinate with project managers for timely site measurements, ensure material procurement at the best possible rates, and prioritize material study and long lead materials based on project time schedules.

**Requirements**:

  • To be successful in this role, you should have a BA degree in civil engineering and a minimum of 1 year's relevant experience in a similar industry in the KSA.
  • You should be able to manage multiple projects and priorities, function as a purchasing agent and subcontract administrator, and analyze and understand variation scopes.
