Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and patrolling the premises to prevent unauthorized access and ensure a safe environment for everyone.
  • Performing security checks and responding to any security threats or incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating with the appropriate authorities as needed.
  • Opening gates to allow entrance or exit of employees, authorized vehicles, and authorized visitors.
  • Recording the plate number of vehicles or other carriers entering and leaving the area.
  • Physically checking the facility, inspecting the building, yard, examining doors and windows, and checking for any interruptions.
  • Securing the facility and properties by locking offices and turning off lights and other electrical devices, as required.
  • Maintaining the required records relating to duties and ensuring clear and accurate log entries are made.

Requirements:

  • High School level is preferred or an equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience, preferably as a Security Officer.
  • Acceptable level of understanding of English to enable effective written or verbal interpretation of messages.
