Lactalis Saudi Arabia, a leading player in the dairy industry, is seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Job Summary

This is a key role responsible for the overall Demand Planning performance of the supply chain division for Lactalis KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for forecasting and managing customer demand at the SKU level, ensuring accurate forecasting and minimizing stockouts and overstocking.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Forecasting and Demand Planning: Develop and maintain accurate forecasts of customer demand, taking into account various factors such as planned promotions, new customers, and loss of customers.
  2. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams: Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, Key Accounts Manager, and Horeca & B2B Sales Manager to align forecasts with sales and marketing strategies.
  3. Supply Chain Optimization: Conduct S&OP - Pre-Demand Review and S&OP - Demand Review meetings to ensure accurate forecasting and minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  4. Inventory Management: Analyze sales deviations from forecast and take corrective actions to avoid sales loss, generate demand planning reports, and conduct demand analysis by channel and customer.
  5. Order Management: Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing department for new product launches, ensure timely order placement of imported goods, and perform inventory analysis and control.
  6. Risk Management: Monitor aging inventory and facilitate fast liquidation/rotation of aging stocks, optimize inventory levels by balancing supply and demand, and analyze risk day-to-day and communicate with contingency plans.
Requirements and Skills
  1. Saudi national.
  2. Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  3. 4 - 5 years of hands-on working experience in demand planning.
  4. Food and beverage/FMCG industry experience.
  5. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  6. Fluent in both Arabic and English.
  7. Excellent in MS Excel and experienced in working with ERP systems.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
