About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Center Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and integrating security systems equipment, including access control/intrusion detection and CCTV surveillance systems, as well as managing the overall operation of our data centers.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operation of our data centers, ensuring smooth delivery of services and high-quality customer experiences.

  2. Lead large-scale security engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and effective coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, promoting effective communication and collaboration across organizational boundaries.

  4. Ensure compliance with physical security project standards, project scopes of work, budgets, and timelines.

  5. Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and change outs, optimizing performance and efficiency.

  6. Support security system equipment commissioning and complete final tests and acceptance of security systems.

  7. Create and deploy training programs for all users of physical security systems, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data center operations or a related field.

  • 3+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience.

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
