About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event sales tenders and procurement processes with expertise in managing RFQs RFPs and government/private sector portals.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base generating leads through networking cold calling and market outreach.
  • Pitch and present event services to potential clients tailoring solutions to their needs attending client meetings negotiating contracts and closing deals to achieve sales targets.

Tender & Procurement Management:

  • Monitor government and private sector tender portals for relevant RFQs and RFPs assessing event-related tender opportunities and determining feasibility.
  • Work with internal teams to prepare high-quality proposals and quotations for submissions ensuring timely submission of proposals with a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing Event Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales within the events industry with a strong track record of closing deals.
  • Experience with tenders RFQs and RFPs within the government and private sectors.
  • Strong negotiation and business development skills excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing proposals and pitches.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
