We are a leading events agency based in Riyadh, Qatar, UAE, seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager – Events to drive business growth through lead generation, strategic sales initiatives, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event sales, tenders, and procurement processes, with expertise in managing RFQs, RFPs, and government/private sector portals.

We are a leading events agency based in Riyadh, Qatar, UAE, seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager – Events to drive business growth through lead generation, strategic sales initiatives, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event sales, tenders, and procurement processes, with expertise in managing RFQs, RFPs, and government/private sector portals.
Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the agency's client base.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and market outreach.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government entities, and private sector businesses.
- Pitch and present event services to potential clients, tailoring solutions to their needs.
- Attend client meetings, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor government and private sector tender portals for relevant RFQs and RFPs.
- Assess event-related tender opportunities and determine feasibility.
- Work with internal teams to prepare high-quality proposals and quotations for submissions.
- Ensure timely submission of proposals with a strong competitive edge.
- Manage the full sales cycle for tender-based projects, from sourcing opportunities to contract finalization.
- Utilize CRM systems to track leads, opportunities, and pipeline progress.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth.
- Regularly update management on sales performance, forecasts, and key insights.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to enhance sales efforts and client acquisition strategies.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions to build connections and increase brand presence.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to understand their event needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales within the events industry, with a strong track record of closing deals.
- Experience with tenders, RFQs, and RFPs within the government and private sectors.
- Strong negotiation and business development skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing proposals and pitches.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
