Job Description

As a Structural Inspector at ILF Consulting Engineers in Saudi Arabia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of structural works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of structural components to verify compliance with designs, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Monitor material quality and workmanship to ensure adherence to project standards.
  • Verify that materials meet approved submittals and are handled/stored properly.
  • Support testing of structural components to validate their strength and integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and submit progress/compliance reports.
  • Enforce on-site safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions.
  • Collaborate with contractors and engineers to resolve structural issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's (3+ years) or Diploma (7+ years) in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in structural inspections for large construction projects.
  • Registration as an Engineer with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is mandatory. Structural inspection or QA certifications are highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an asset.
