About the Position

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute business development strategies that align with our company's overall business objectives and goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Commercial, and Marketing, to ensure seamless integration and optimized resource allocation.

Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and thought leaders, to stay informed about emerging trends and opportunities in the industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies that align with our company's overall business objectives and goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimized resource allocation.

  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities in the cardiovascular space, both organically and through partnerships.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and thought leaders.

  • Maintain a high level of disease, product, and indication knowledge, as well as competitor products.

  • Foster strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

  • Work with relevant stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the Life Cycle Plan and deliver specific actions/programs to support prioritized business opportunities.

  • Train and develop the field team on product/competitor knowledge and differentiation messages to customers.

  • Ensure full compliance with laws, regulations, and Bristol Myers Squibb's Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a Pharmaceutical / Medical field.

  • Business School degree or MBA preferred.

  • At least 8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Demonstrated track record of success in business development, with a focus on partnerships, collaborations, and licensing agreements.

  • Able to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with senior management and Global Brand Team.

  • Proven history of seeking out new information and learning quickly, absorbing new concepts, analyzing data, and making effective decisions.

  • Broad and in-depth understanding of local and regional challenges relative to the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Demonstrated use of communication and change management strategies/tactics to influence new ways of thinking and working.

  • Strong project management, analytical, and forecasting skills.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills, able to create energy and excitement.

  • Knowledge of financial principles and how to manage budgets, control expenses, and manage product performance.

  • Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.

  • Traveling is required.
