About the Role

Mace Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our MEP services team on a major project in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the construction delivery of MEP services, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, safe, and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement delivery strategies and programs for all phases of the project, considering key milestones, interfaces, dependencies, logistics, and work sequencing.
  • Supervise technical coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and utility providers, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.
  • Review and provide input on consultant and contractor designs, procurement processes, and bid documentation.
  • Lead the coordination of MEP design and fabric, ensuring consideration, collaboration, and coordination with build elements.
  • Review and approve pre-construction documentation, construction progress, and quality control/auditing.
  • Develop and implement project MEP close-out strategies, reviewing documentation such as record drawings and O&M manuals.
  • Support the commercial team in valuing works, change control, and claims.
  • Assist in producing project reports and communicating with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering.
  • Discipline-specific professional registration with CIBSE, IET, IMechE, SoPHE, or CIOB.
  • Knowledge of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business.
  • SMSTS and CSCS card.
  • Experience in leading an MEP team on a major project, managing multiple MEP works packages in parallel, and delivering projects with large-scale MEP value.
  • Proven track record of successful projects/contributions in the relevant construction sector.
