Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Lasifa International. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, including preparation of single line diagrams, schematic diagrams, load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, motor starting analysis, transient, stability analysis, ground grid design, relay coordination and settling calculations, transformers, MCC's, cable sizing, lighting calculations, electrical equipment specification & layout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including preparation of single line diagrams, schematic diagrams, load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, motor starting analysis, transient, stability analysis, ground grid design, relay coordination and settling calculations, transformers, MCC's, cable sizing, lighting calculations, electrical equipment specification & layout.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure electrical systems meet design requirements and are properly installed and maintained.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect electrical systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve electrical systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a design and development role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including design principles, analysis, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in design software, including ETAP and other relevant tools.
