Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Lead to oversee the management and operation of our data center and associated technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and operate the data center, including all associated technology and solutions.
- Report on service performance and resource utilization, and make recommendations on system tuning or upgrades.
- Implement agreed system changes to maintain reliability, performance, and security.
- Analyze service and system performance to identify possible faults before they impact service levels.
- Perform periodic testing to ensure systems restorations and redundancy/back-up solutions are working as planned.
- Provide second-level support and training for service desk incidents related to infrastructure support, vendor support, and maintenance services.
- Support the development, maintenance, and implementation of information systems disaster recovery plans.
- Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure the protection of IT assets and the integrity, security, and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the facility.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- M365 Enterprise Administration Expert certification.
- M365 Hybrid Administrator Associate certification.
- VCP, VCAP6-DCV certification.
- CCNP Routing/Switching and Wireless certification.
- Certified Data Centre Management Professional (CDCMP) certification.
- Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) certification.
- ITIL and PMP certifications.
- 5 years of progressive IT infrastructure management responsibility, especially in data center operations.
- Experience in the Healthcare industry.
- Proficiency with IT infrastructure setup and maintenance for hospital operations.
- Good knowledge of information technology, IT trends, and strategies, combined with business knowledge.
- English language proficiency.
- Arabic language proficiency is desirable but not essential.
