We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Avionics and Armament Expert to join our team at Vectrus. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of AH-64 aircraft systems, including electrical and avionics components, fire control systems, and armament equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have five (5) years' experience as an aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician. A three-year experience in ASE duties on AH-64 series aircraft will also be required. Additionally, a graduate of a US Military Aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) technician course or civilian equivalent training and experience will be preferred.
- Manage and perform routine maintenance tasks on AH-64 aircraft systems, including electrical and avionics components, fire control systems, and armament equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify malfunctions in aircraft systems and components, following relevant technical manuals and directives.
- Perform authorized modifications and alignments on AH-64E and AH-6i weapons components, fire control systems, and electronic/mechanical devices.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to:
- Coordinate with management for daily and weekly maintenance training activities.
- Support the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures.
- Direct inquiries, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance of the aircraft and supporting maintenance activities.
This is a challenging role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- An Associate's Degree Preferred.
- Five (5) Years' Experience as an Aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician.
- Three (3) Years' Experience as an AH-64 Series Aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician.
- Graduate of a US Military Aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician Course or Civilian Equivalent Training and Experience.
- Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft-related documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office software.
- Possess a valid US-issued driver's license and passport.
