Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to join our team at Domo Ventures W.L.L. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our venue, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and Repairs: Ensure that all equipment, facilities, and infrastructure are in good working condition, conducting regular checks and performing necessary repairs and maintenance.
  2. Life Cycle Management: Develop and implement a program to manage the life cycle of our assets, including preventive maintenance and replacement schedules.
  3. Soft Services: Oversee the management of soft services such as cleaning and security, ensuring that these services meet our high standards.
  4. Event Support: Work closely with our events team to provide support and assistance during events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and according to plan.
  5. Records and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports on maintenance activities, including work completed, hours worked, and materials used.
  6. Contractor Management: Manage relationships with contractors, ensuring that they meet our expectations and deliver high-quality work.
  7. Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of our maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  8. Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed, and that our venue remains a safe and healthy environment for employees and visitors.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for the events industry and a commitment to excellence.
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • A basic understanding of drafting software and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
