  • Negotiating with Suppliers
    • Negotiate with selected suppliers to obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing.
    • Coordinate site visits with contractors and end-users to obtain necessary quotations.
    • Maintain close and frequent contact with suppliers to stay up-to-date on market and product information.
  • Managing Procurement Activities
    • Verify and authorize procurement orders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
    • Place orders and expedite deliveries to meet business needs.
    • Prepare tender invitations and execute tender openings for selected items to ensure best value for the company.
    • Sources alternative products with competitive prices while maintaining quality standards and services.
    • Prepare and submit monthly cost-saving reports to the Director of Finance.
    • Explore opportunities for green procurement and participate in the recycling program.
    • Provide suggestions to other departments to achieve cost savings while meeting their requirements.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in procurement, purchasing, or related professional area.
    • Candidate Profile
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
      • Knowledge of procurement principles and practices.
