This includes planning, developing, and implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's information assets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, risk management, and governance, with experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Cybersecurity Strategy: Develop a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives, and ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's information assets.
- Assess and Mitigate Risks: Assess the organization's cybersecurity risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including the implementation of controls and procedures to prevent and detect cyber threats.
- Develop and Implement Cybersecurity Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, and ensure that all employees understand and comply with them.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and prioritize cybersecurity risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Develop and Implement Incident Response Plan: Develop and implement an incident response plan that outlines the procedures to be followed in the event of a cybersecurity incident, and ensures that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Provide Cybersecurity Awareness and Training: Provide cybersecurity awareness and training to all employees to ensure that they understand the importance of cybersecurity and how to protect the organization's information assets.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and management, to ensure that cybersecurity is integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field: A bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.
- 8-14 Years of Experience in Cybersecurity: 8-14 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position.
- Cybersecurity Certifications: Preferred cybersecurity certifications include ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, CGEIT, GCCCC, ISO 27005 Risk Manager, CISM, CISA, CISSP.
- Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
