About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician at Hitachi Energy, you will be part of our High Voltage business team based in Saudi Arabia. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of industrial equipment and machines by performing regular maintenance and repair tasks.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and repair industrial equipment, conducting routine maintenance and safety checks to prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Generate reports on equipment failures and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
- Ensure a safe working environment by coordinating repair activities and submitting maintenance reports to your supervisor.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and take corrective actions to maintain equipment efficiency.
- Respond to equipment alarms, troubleshoot issues, and fulfill production requests to minimize downtime.
- Conduct calibration activities on equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including LOTO and 5S, to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment protocols.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
