We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Raffles in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health, hygiene, and risk management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Health Policies: Create and enforce policies and procedures aligned with local and international regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies to address potential health and safety hazards.
  • Hygiene Standards: Oversee the implementation of hygiene standards across all company facilities and operations to maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Emergency Response Planning: Manage and coordinate emergency response plans and procedures to ensure prompt action in case of an emergency.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data and prepare detailed reports on health, hygiene, and safety performance metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Training and Development: Lead training programs to educate employees on health and safety best practices, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills required to perform their jobs safely.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in health, hygiene, and risk management roles.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing effective health and safety policies.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations, including Saudi Arabian standards.
  • Expertise in risk assessment methodologies and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including MS Office and specialized risk management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
