This is a full-time, on-site role as a Lighting Sales Engineer at LIGHTECH in JEDDAH.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales, building strong client relationships, and promoting the company's lighting products and solutions. This involves understanding customer needs, providing tailored lighting solutions, and driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is a motivated, customer-focused professional with a strong knowledge of lighting products and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:1. Sales and Business Development
  1. Identify and target potential clients, including architects, contractors, interior designers, and developers.
  2. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  3. Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  4. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals effectively.
2. Customer Relationship Management
  1. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  2. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide technical support as needed.
  3. Act as a trusted advisor by offering tailored lighting solutions to meet customer needs.
3. Product Knowledge and Expertise
  1. Stay up-to-date with the latest lighting technologies, products, and industry trends.
  2. Provide clients with technical specifications and recommendations for lighting products.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
4. Market Research and Strategy
  1. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  2. Identify new market opportunities and recommend strategies to capitalize on them.
  3. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company's brand and products.
5. Reporting and Documentation
  1. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contracts.
  2. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  3. Provide feedback to the product development team on customer needs and market demand.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the lighting or electrical industry.
  3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  4. Familiarity with lighting products, applications, and industry standards is a strong advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
  1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  2. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  3. Negotiation and closing skills.
  4. Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  5. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Basic understanding of lighting design and technical specifications (preferred).
