Role Summary:

The Senior Service Sales Engineer will play a key role in supporting the service sales operations at Otis. This includes negotiating new contracts, ensuring contract renewal, and implementing unit recovery strategies to grow the market share of Otis.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support the preparation of maintenance contracts, negotiation, and finalization with clients based on established guidelines.
  2. Prepare estimates and issue quotations for additional repairs, upgrades of units, and modernization.
  3. Liaise with clients to negotiate maintenance contract renewals, addressing potential client risks under the renewal terms.
  4. Capture critical actions on all contracts to minimize Otis's contractual risk.
  5. Execute sales strategies to recover lost units and pursue clients for unit recovery on favorable terms for Otis.
  6. Develop a strong relationship with clients through regular engagement and understanding their needs.
  7. Coordinate with the Aftermarket and Service Department to implement maintenance/repair/modernization agreements.
  8. Assist the Finance Department with timely payment collection based on contracting agreements.
  9. Maintain and update the maintenance contracts database in the MIS system and provide periodic reports.
  10. Comply with quality procedures and ISO policies in executing sales operations.
  11. Drive SOS growth in recaptured units, increasing market coverage.
  12. Establish sales objectives by providing accurate forecasts and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories.
  13. Develop strategic relationships with main Contractors, Consultants, and Key Accounts.
  14. Explore and hunt for new customers.
