We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Site Health and Safety Officer to join our team at Afaq - Warehouse Branch. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective safety programs and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct regular site audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  3. Collaborate with site leaders and teams to promote a culture of safety and provide training and guidance on safety protocols.
  4. Analyze incident data and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
  5. Partner with procurement to ensure that all equipment and machinery meet safety standards.
  6. Requirements:
  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategic plans.
