Role Overview

The Project Manager is accountable for managing the scope, schedule, and budget of assigned projects. This role involves managing the interface with key stakeholders both internally and externally during the project, with a focus on continuous, proactive collaboration with the customer.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver projects within defined contractual requirements and KONE objectives.
  2. Ensure KONE business success and customer satisfaction.
  3. Manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  4. Proactively manage customer communication throughout the project.
  5. Ensure integrated project planning and management with customers and KONE full chain teams.
  6. Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan.
  7. Continuously monitor and control project progress.
  8. Responsible for successful project start-up, project reviews, project reporting, and facilitating project governance.
  9. Effectively communicate project status and progress to KONE management and the customer.
  10. Identify, mitigate, and manage operational and financial project risks.
  11. Accountable for project financial planning and forecasting, cash flow management, and revenue management.
  12. Drive Sales-to-Operations handover quality and ensure project closing activities are completed.
  13. Maintain a master action log and lessons learned document.
  14. Plan and ensure sufficient project resourcing and competencies.
  15. Lead the full chain project team.
  16. Ensure safety and security awareness amongst employees and subcontractors in the project.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  2. 5+ years of experience in a PM role.
  3. Experience in the Elevator and Escalator industry.
  4. Arabic language is essential.
  5. Excellent English language skills.
  6. Strong communication skills.
  7. Excellent negotiation skills and ability to take initiatives.
  8. PMO certificate is a plus.
