As an Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive fixed asset management system, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and providing expert guidance on asset lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fixed Asset Control Policy: Develop and implement a fixed asset control policy in accordance with SOES guidelines, ensuring compliance and adherence to established procedures.
  • Asset Classification and Reconciliation: Classify new fixed assets on a monthly basis and reconcile with approved investment budgets, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Asset Tagging and Verification: Coordinate with factory and branch accountants to ensure fixed assets are properly tagged and verified, minimizing losses and ensuring accurate inventory.
  • Asset Write-Off Proposals: Justify fixed asset write-off proposals from requestors/cost center heads, ensuring compliance with SOES policies and procedures.
  • Physical Asset Count: Conduct annual physical counts of fixed assets with owners, ensuring accurate inventory and minimizing losses.
  • Trade Asset Management: Align with the Sales team to manage trade assets, ensuring records agree with accounting registered lists and providing expert guidance on asset lifecycle management.
  • ROIC Analysis: Evaluate the Return on Investment (ROIC) of trade assets in both business units, Retail and Home & Office Delivery, providing expert analysis and recommendations.
  • Depreciation Calculation: Provide fixed assets depreciation calculations to the costing and accounting team, ensuring compliance with SOES accounting standards.
  • Capital Expenditures Tracking: Track monthly capital expenditures and report in the SOES system, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Investment Budgeting: Participate in annual investment budgeting and coordinate with the Production area to consolidate at the corporate level.
  • Net Trade Working Capital Management: Conduct Net Trade Working Capital (NTWC) management and report to SOES, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Operation Excellence Initiatives: Coordinate with the manufacturing area to analyze the performance of Operation Excellence initiatives, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
