Job Description

JASARA PMC is a reputable project management consultancy firm seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Manager U&I to lead and manage the design and implementation of urban infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the design process for urban infrastructure projects from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop design concepts and solutions that meet project objectives.
  • Oversee and review design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization and minimizing costs.
  • Coordinate and integrate design elements with other project disciplines, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements, maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and project success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, urban planning, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in design and management of urban infrastructure projects, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong knowledge of urban design principles, regulations, and best practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and GIS, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, and to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines, and to maintain a high level of professionalism and expertise under pressure.
  • Experience working on urban infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is preferred, but not required.
  • A professional certification or membership in a relevant industry association is a plus, but not required.
